Today it is exactly 3 years since I launched my website Rozanne Henry.com. Before that I used a different name: Capture Connection.co.za. I offered only Life Coaching services on that website. My blog was all about stories and experiences that held much grief. I deleted those blog posts as I began to feel the need to shift into a new energy.
I will share below the posts I shared on Instagram this month of April that were about celebrating who I was choosing to become…
This was the first image I ever dared to share that held the suggestion that I am a woman who expresses herself through colour on a canvas. This was 3 yrs ago. I remember feeling so nervous as I posted this image. Truly …painting has grown and strengthened my voice in countless of ways. And then sharing creations on social media I must say. Many who know me in real life never knew this part of me existed. Amazing how we hide ourselves. From each other. From ourselves. It’s all given me courage to be seen in my true self. Here is part of my easel i shared that day. I believe as each woman shows publicly the things that light her up, a ripple of permission is created for her and for more women to be present to their own dreams and passions too….
One of these original paintings would find its way into one woman’s home. As a gift to you. From my heart. …because I am celebrating courage and permission i gave myself to bloom. I am celebrating owning my creative self.
This was the painting I offered as the GIVEAWAY… I dearly love her open-ness to all the wonder that could become possible for her. The inner peace and inner joy that radiates from within her. She knows that taking time for stillness, taking time for sacred and creative connection brings this to her. And remaining open always….
I gifted one woman this painting because it is an act of gratitude from me for generous kindness that came my own way many times. Your support in any way helps me bring beauty , freedom and joy to others through my art. Qualities i hold very dear. And helps me continue to share a message of purposeful living for women. I am also celebrating courage and permission to allow ourselves to bloom. Something every woman, including myself need constant reminders for. This painting is extra special as she was the very first painting I created when I began my#100expressionsoflove painting project. She is photographed here amidst golden autumn leaves.
These were words I shared when I announced the winner: May her serenity bring you many moments of loveliness and inner joy. I originally titled her “Allowing peace”… May each woman who came to my page receive this essence for herself too… as life can become quite intense – raising kids and with other life commitments…Let’s remember to just pause and breathe in beauty…. There will be more special treats in future too.
